Holiday Performances

Image Dance Company & Academy have been delighting the San Antonio with their joy and merriment of Holiday Performances for the holiday season since 2008. Beginning at the Carmack Center, where they housed their classes, their presented their holiday renditions of Ballet Folklorico, flamenco, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet, Belly Dance and Ballroom. Their wide genre offered an array of performance to amuse anyone of any age or preference of entertainment.
This year, proved a challenge, as it was the first year to not have invitations extended. IDCA was able to secure one invitation for two performances for Rolling Oaks Mall. With so much of 2020 being unexpected and unable to be planned out, the performance pieces were completed in under three weeks for all the classes and all the levels of dance. It proved to be a daunting task for the instructors but nothing was going to stop those teachers from preparing the wonderful and eager students of IDCA.
The performances took place Sunday, December 8, 2020 and Saturday, December 14 at the mall and performances were presented and appreciated by the audiences.
IDCA is looking forward to 2021 and the additional opportunities to perform.
