Ballroom is Back!

After the disappointing year of 2020 in which numerous classes, to include the very popular Youth Ballroom class, had to be cut from the scheduling of Image Dance Co., we can now announce that Ballroom dance is back at Image Dance Co. & Academy. The class consists of youth ages 9 – 17 and will be taught by director, Michelle Angulo-Pacheco. Mrs. Angulo-Pacheco has graced the social dance instructional scene for over 20 years but has influences the ballroom and social dance classrooms as the instructor for the Alamo Community College District for 12 years in the early 2000s.

This class will introduce our youth to the beautiful dances of the ballroom to include Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba, Tango, Cha-Cha, East Coast Swing & Bolero– to name a few. The students will also become familiar with social dances of our diverse culture to include Salsa, Swing, Country/Western & Cumbia.

This will be a semester course that runs from May – September. At this time, the class is open to youth but we will gladly create a course to accommodate the young at heart and begin an adult short-term and/or long-term course. Simply, contact us.
