Students Present at Fall 2021 Recital

Image Dance Academy presented a new series of dance pieces this past Sunday, September 12, at the Carver Community Community Cultural Center. It was a fabulous experience to return to the #Carver after a few years absence.

Parents were able to experience watching their children perform their dance pieces learned this past semester to a cheering and supporting audience. The on-stage and backstage adrenaline-building by students and parents was a shared experience.

Dance styles presented were Mexican Folklorico pieces from the state of Tamaulipas, Chiapas, Yucatan and Jalisco. Students also presented flamenco and Spanish classical pieces of Malaguena Populares and Zapateado. Jazz and Hip-Hop dance pieces were cheered on by the families in the audience.

Students enjoyed preparing their dance pieces with a teaching staff that kept the expectations high. The students were only glad to meet these expectations.
