Ballet I Ages 5 - 11 Students shall participate in dance movement and activities through which they development fine and gross motor skills as they run, skip, leap, stretch, jump, coordinate, balance, isolate and move to the music. They also develop social skills through collaborative and cooperative games. The students are also introduced to basic shapes, positions and terminology of ballet as well as "child-like" terms to refer to the movements. While learning these many skills, the child shall build their physical and emotional confidence to explore and create.
Ballet II :: Ages 12-Adult (Beginner adults) The previous techniques are all applied at this level and are progressed. The development of the body is encouraged through stretching, conditioning and strengthening. Additional postures and positions are taught as well as the terminology. The skills taught through the movement of creative games is applied to a higher level. Additional barre work is added and technique as well as choreography of dance routines is more complex. Course is ideal for the multi-genre dancer. Both male and female dancers are all styles will benefit with increased endurance and stamina.
Jazz I :: Ages 4-9 Students will be introduced to rhythmic techniques and combinations. The beginning student learns the basis of the 8 count. Mechanics and techniques of dance steps are taught & directed toward the younger student. Jazz/Contemporary/Lyrial :: Ages 15-Adult Difficulty level, stunts, and prop usage increased. Each semester focuses on a different dance style while incorporating basic dance/jazz/lyrical and partnering techniques in all of its choreography and dance presentation pieces. Previous dance experience and director approval required.
Youth Ballroom :: Ages 8 (w/ no dance exper.) thru Adult Basic dance level for those first learning to dance with a partner. Choreography is based around the partnering of the dancers. Each semester focuses on a different dance style while incorporating basic dance/jazz/lyrical and partnering techniques in all of its choreography and dance presentation pieces.
Kid's Funk / Intro to Hip-Hop :: Ages 3-5- (Must be able to stay independently of parent) If your child loves dancing to music videos, dancing at local dances and events, this is a hip-hop street hip-hop course. Rhythm and coordination will be taught with dance combinations and choreography. Stretching and warm up is essential. The Kid Funk student will gain an appreciation for the hours of practice necessary for a synchronized routine. It's work, but it'll be FUN!
Hip - Hop I - Ages 6-12 If you love dancing to music videos from your favorite hip-hop and pop artist, your child is sure to love this let your hair down course. They learn rhythm and how to find and keep the beat with combinations. Stretching and warm up is essential. Increased level of choreography and intensity. Stretching and warm up is essential. The class is sure to be work, but it'll be FUN with all the "IN" steps.
Folklorico I :: Ages 3-6 Class is directed toward the independent student of pre-school age who shows interest in dance. Curriculum includes dance instruction with quick movements, footwork, and upper body technique.
Folklorico II :: Ages 7-10 Class emphasizes the differentiation of regional dances and their cultural background. Curriculum begins to intensify choreographic patterns and formations. Students will improve skirt (upper body) and footwork techniques.
Mexican Folklorico Couples :: Ages 7-11 Class emphasizes the differentiation of regional dances and their cultural background. Girls and boys partner within the choreography. Curriculum begins to intensify choreography patterns and formations as individuals and with partners. Students improve skirt (upper body) and footwork techniques.
Folklorico III :: Ages 11 thru 15 Note: Youth Dance Class -- Director's placement Class develop an in-depth cultural awareness of Mexican regional dances. Curriculum addresses advanced choreographic formations and increased intensity of body conditioning and techniques. Students increase the intensity skirt and footwork, utilize props such as fans, bottles, and cups. Folklorico IV :: Ages 16 thru Adult Class advances an in-depth cultural awareness of Mexican regional dances. Class is open to adults who are deemed to be at a beginner to intermediate level or who are reviewing from previous training. Curriculum uses adult level advanced choreographic formations and increased intensity of body conditioning and techniques. Students increase the intensity skirt and footwork, utilize props such as fans, bottles, and cups.
Spanish Dance I :: Ages 5-9 Class provides an introduction to the culture of various regions of Spain. Curriculum is a beginners level addressing upper body arm-work (Braceos) and footwork (Taconeo) skills. Students will be introduced to fundamentals of utilizing their core posture and body movement techniques, turns, and begin the study of Castanets. Spanish Dance II :: Ages 10-15 Class provides in-depth awareness of the culture of various regions of Spain. Curriculum increases the intensity of body conditioning, techniques, footwork (taconeo) and arm movement (braceos). Students will address advanced choreographic patterns, additional techniques with the use of props such as Castanets, fans, shawls, and scarves.
Flamenco :: Ages 14 thru Adult No prior experience necessary for adults; Open to teens with prior experience at discretion of director and/or instructor.
These classes are not part of the regular scheduling, but are offered seasonally. Lessons start at a beginners level and is designed to advance upon the skills of the students. Introduction to Latin Social - Salsa & Merengue & Bachata :: Trata Tropical Learn the beginning level of salsa and merengue. The classes focuses on foot patterns and timing. Essential skills regarding the male's lead will be taught as well. Class minimum of 8 $55.00 per person or $100.00 per couple

Castanette Workshop :: Enchanted Castenettes Castanette workshop focuses on this traditional and popular instrument used to accompany Spanish dance and flamenco. These workshops are for all skill levels, from the dancer or aficionado of Spanish culture to the castanette novice. $25.00 for each Workshop DATES TBA
Creative Movement :: Ages 2-3 :: Look at Me - I'm Dancin' Creative Movement courses incorporate Pre-Ballet and Jazz rudimentary techniques. It focuses toward the younger student learning their basic motor skills. It also introduced the child to a variety of musical accompaniment. Students should have an enjoyable time dancing to the different rhythms of the world of music.
Private Lessons Private and supplemental lessons are subject to the availability of the desired instructor. When requesting private lessons, indicate the desired purpose. For example, to brush up on skills, to refine existing skills, to prepare for an audition, need choreography.
